This being said, the role has a strong new business focus and you will demonstrate the ability to plan and proactively target accounts. You will have the ability to build trusting and long lasting relationships with Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. They are highly intelligent and educated professionals who work hard and earn good money. As such, you will be solutions focused and have the ability to make informed independent business decisions including pricing negotiations. You will either have a proven track record in medical or optical sales and ideally have clinical experience in an Optical practice. While product knowledge will be important, this can be trained and what is more important is your ability to sell and to close.
